Earth is a common planet seen throughout the Multiverse, it's frequency of appearance coinciding with the large number of Human life also seen. Earth is usually seen as the homeworld of the Humans, although it could be different universe to universe. Earth serves as the perfect model for terran planets, as it it is the only terran planet known in real life. It is also considered the 'standard' or the 'normal' planet from which many make comparisons.

Geography
Continents
Earth has seven continents: North America, South America, Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia, and Antarctica. Some could almost say there are two super-continents because South and North America are physically attach, and Europe, Asia, and Africa are also attached. Europe and Asia are often referred to as the Eurasian continent, whilst Australia, New Zealand and several other smaller southern countries are commonly grouped as Australasia. At one point of time all the continents were all combined, this Early earth was known as Pangaea.
North America
North America generally has a more temperate climate than other areas of the world. Even so the climate is still extremely varied, there is anything from deserts, swamps, to permafrost. In the real world North America is dominated by just three countries The United States of America, Canada, and Mexico. The U.S.A. is one of, if not the, most influential country upon the whole of Earth during the 'modern era'. The U.S.A. was created by the union of countries either through economy, diplomacy or by military force. Originating from European settlers, the new Americans colonised much of North America, regularly clashing the the native Americans, who were placed on reservations, and the former Spanish of Mexico. Experiencing great moments of Independence (from Great Britain), civil war, booming culture and technological advances, the U.S.A. is considered one of the youngest super-powers on the globe.
South America
South America generally has a hot-wet climate compared to other parts of the world, but like many of the continents it is still quite diverse. Although South America is is often associated with crime during the modern era, it is a place with a great variety of cultures. Once the land was home to many ancient civilisations, including the great Inca. However when Europeans, in particular the Spanish, discovered the Americas, they colonised the land and with them came many unknown diseases killing a great deal of native Americans. Those let mixed with the new Spanish settlers and the new face of South America was born, giving rises to countries like Brazil and Argentina.
Europe
Europe is the birthplace of western civilization. Europe is home to many powerful countries, each having a long history of rises and falling of power. It was once home to the Grecian empire, the Roman during the 'ancient' period when great wars were waged across the lands. Ultimately it was Roman culture that would last through its legacy of Christianity, a religious organisation that spread across the whole of Europe and would set the basis for the 'modern world'. From the ashes of Rome rose more powerful nations throughout history, including France, Italy, Spain, Germany and England. These countries were also regularly embroiled in warfare, either in Europe or abroad, including the likes of 'The Crusades', performed in the name of Christianity, and the One-Hundred-Years War over succession rights to the French crown. These empires crossed out across the seas into Africa, America and Australia. The largest empire in history was the Empire of Great Britain, which spread those old Roman values throughout the world and caused its native English language to be the most widely used language of all, classified as the 'universal language'. Great Britain was also the first to undergo the Industrial Revolution, which would change the shape of the planet forever and pave the way towards profound and incredible technology. After Great Britain began to decline, the newly formed U.S.A. would declare independence from Britain and take on the role as the most powerful nation on the planet.
Asia
Asia is by far the largest continent and possibly the most diverse. Asia is home to some of the oldest, and the newest of civilizations. Although Europe may be the home of old wars, Asia is home to the new. It is home of all the major religions on Earth, so it's the usually battleground of holy wars due to the presence of Jerusalem, in Israel, which is the holy city for many of the most prominent religions of the world. It has become the known for its extreme and fundamentalist approach to religion. Some of the largest countries in Asia include China and Russia, both of which have undergone profound histories including empires, wars and starvation and conquest. China has been a long supplier of goods both in old and new days, though not always willingly; experiencing the Opium Wars with Great Britain over trade disputes of the prohibited substance known as opium. China underwent its own dramatic history during the likes of the period of The Three Kingdoms and the invasion of the Mongols. Chinese culture was a heavy influence on other nations, including Japan and Korea. Russia was formerly a huge empire ruled by tsars, though much of its landscape was unpopulated with pockets of civilisation. It gave rise to the world's first Communist nation, which eventually led to a period known as the Cold War and the spread of Communism into other lands, including China by force. Russia was known for making leaps in technology during the Cold War period.
Africa
Africa is seen as the oldest lands in the world and is the birthplace of the first humans. A very long long time ago Africa was actually one of the most lush places on Earth, but now it is dominated by desert. Despite having some of the oldest cultures in the world, Africa remains the least developed. Africa has seen many of its own great nations, though it is Egypt that is most commonly known as the greatest of all, its influence spreading out across Eurasia. It was still a powerful nation during the times of the Romans and Greeks. Africa is also known for slavery, a deed known to be practised throughout history. The height of slavery came, however, during the colonial period when large European powers such as Great Britain and France would use slaves to build up their own empires. However when pressure increased to outlaw slavery, Great Britain took it upon itself to police the anti-slavery ideal by guarding the African coasts, attacking ships belonging to other empires including the newly formed U.S.A. In the modern era Africa is split into hundreds of countries including Niger, Sudan, Ethiopia, Zimbabwe and South Africa with many different languages in use.
Australia
Australia is the only continent with a one country dominance. Australia being so separated from the rest of the continents, gave it rise to some of the most unique life forms around. It was formed, as a country, by Great Britain using penal transportation during the colonial era. When the British empire crumbled, Australia became a member of the Commonwealth, a series of former British nations still tied together under the British monarchy. The country, despite being highly modernised, is still famous for its unique and flurried wildlife.
Antarctica
Antarctica is primarily an arctic desert. It's primarily used as a location for experiments or to study the native animals species, the penguin. It is known, however, to be 'shrinking' as a portion of the landmass is nothing but ice, which breaks away due to the global warming of the modern era. It is a continent far too inhospitable for human life to life comfortably.
Sentients
Human
- Main article: Human
Humans are the most common sentient creature throughout the entire Multiverse. The human phenomenon lacks any real explanation, though there are many that would argue humans are the 'true sentients', moulded after the creator of the Multiverse itself. Although humans come in many shapes, sizes, breeds and creeds, there is also one 'sub-species' of the human branch that occurs most frequently. This branch of human is often considered 'normal', usually by these humans themselves, due to their numbers, making them the 'means' of any comparison. They usually come from a world named Earth, though the condition of this planet also changes greatly, and their most common tongue is English; which has become the universal language for many worlds across the Multiverse. This particular article refers, only, to the most common and 'normal' type of human.
Politics
Countries
Egypt
Birthplace of the Egyptian Gods, Egypt is famous for its great pyramids and rich history. The ancient Egyptian civilisation is considered one of the world's first true civilisations, capable of writing and recording their own history. They traded all over Africa and the Mediterranean. The country was once conquered by Greece, which led to the construction of Alexandria. During the post-modern era Egypt has become one of the most influential nations in Africa with a great source of revenue from tourism. France also took control of the country during the early modern period but was expelled again with the aid of Great Britain.
France
France has been one of the most influential and powerful nations in Europe since its creation and still stands as one of the most powerful nations in the whole world during the post-modern period. It was once part of Gaul, a country existing during the Roman period. France was established by Frankish peoples that attacked the Romans occupying Gaul. During the 19th Century France held the second largest empire in the world, second only to Great Britain. It colonised a large portion of America as well as Africa. Being such direct rivals with Great Britain, the two countries have long engaged in many, many wars stemming from rights of succession, to power in Europe and to control of trade routes. One such war was the Napoleonic War, during which time Armand D'Autry was born and raised in Lyons.

Significant Cities
Kamakura
In one variant of Earth, Kamakura is the closest town to the Oda Hermitage in medieval Japan. It was the home of the shogunate during this time, named simply as the Kamakura period. With its being the seat of power, Kamakura has a great influx of people on a regular basis and many stay there when seeking out the Oda Hermitage and the Bug Master that resides there; Oda Hideyo. In the modern era, Kamakura is no longer the seat of power but was declared a major city. A lot of the historical buildings were lost and had to be replicated, yet the nearby Oda Hermitage still stands, though it has long been derelict.
Lyons
The city of Lyons has a long history. Once the capital of Gaul, Lyons was a Roman settlement named "Lugdunum" and acted as a convenient staging point for expansion further into Europe. It was during this period that Bathild Vardæus was stationed in Lugdunum and met her long-term friend Nkuma Nigeroculus. Lyons itself became a part of France during the 14th Century and was a major silk manufacturer during the 19th Century. It was then that Armand D'Autry was born here, later experiencing the First World War.
Pyongyang
During the period that Maruyama Takahiro was born, Pyongyang was not the capital of the medieval Korea, but was still considered a very important town that was the capital of a specific province of the country. However in modern times the city has become the capital for North Korea.

Armand d'Autry
- Main article: Armand d'Autry
The Thaumavore known as Armand D'Autry is similar to a Vampire in many ways, however thaumavores drain a person's magickal energy rather than their blood. Armand was once a normal Human from the country France on the planet Earth but he made a pact with the dark god called Zreanaca who turned him into the thaumavore so that he could better carry out her will. As an acolyte of Zreanaca, Armand travels through the Multiverse until he finds a world suitable for consumption by his god; these are usually corrupt worlds filled with high levels of 'negative energy'. In preparation for such an event, Armand will spend time in a magickally rich land to soak in enough energy to perform the 'calling of Zreanaca'. He once spent time in The Napping Cat's Dream, however his favourite place to remain for a great deal of time is the Valle Dei Mondi now that he is a teacher at the Schola Draíochta after Professor Skrai relinquished the role.

Maruyama Takahiro
- Main article: Maruyama Takahiro
Maruyama Takahiro was once known as Kwŏk In-Su before he moved to Japan to study as a Bug Master under the tutelage of Oda Hideyo. Bugs allow a Human to become gifted with a specific ability and powers over the Bugs themselves, but at the expense of lifespan. Takahiro's once dark hair has turned white and his bones have become more brittle, forcing him to rely on a cane. However he is a Bug Master and has much skill with medicine, sustaining himself for the short term. His frequent pain and dark future has led Takahiro to use opium and cannabis as recreational drugs. He attends the Schola Draíochta along with his adoptive sister Oda Yumiko-Ai and took part in the Second Invasion, siding with Mistress Procellifer.
Oda Yumiko-Ai
- Main article: Oda Yumiko-Ai
Oda Yumiko-Ai is a human female from medieval Japan on Earth. Born to the famous Bug Master, Oda Hideyo, Yumiko-Ai was born with a tether to alternate realities. From these alternate worlds come alternate versions of Yumiko herself, which are often strange versions of traditional Japanese mythological creatures, such as Tengu or Kitsune. She has no control over these other beings and they will often wrest control from her, changing her physical form to reflect their own. However Yumiko still remembers all that happens, often with a great deal of embarrassment. When not in control of Yumiko they reside in their own worlds. Yumiko has one natural sibling, Oda Kamiko, and one adoptive brother, Maruyama Takahiro, who were both also taught to control their powers by Hideyo. However in an effort to distance herself from a passionate love affair with the young Takahiro, Hideyo sent him to the Schola Draíochta and Yumiko there soon after. Hideyo hoped to blossom a relationship between her daughter and Takahiro, placing further obstacles in the path of her own passion. However once there the two barely spent any time together and Yumiko found it harder and harder to control the "alternate Yumikos".

Earth is constantly used in any writing: fantasy, sci-fi, alternate history, or just true documentary. Earth is something everyone can relate to, and everyone knows about. It's something easy to tweak just a little and get what you want, without having to write everything from scratch.
Earth is not copyrighted, it's here for us all to share. Anyone is welcome to contribute to this article, obviously information on Earth is limitless. Just remember, this is a general thread about Earth, not a specific one in the multiverse. Also, writing about earth of course brings us to the real-world issues going on, try to avoid writing something one group or another may find offenseive.
