Worlds
Azovith
- Main article: Azovith
A massive floating landmass situated in the Ia dimesion, Azovith is the home world of the Dysmantan race. The sole island of life in the vast, unstable chaos of Ia, Azovith is only reachable through magical or otherwise supernatural means and is extremely inhospitable to most foreign species. Roughly 116k square miles, the land is characterized by harsh weather, wide wastelands and the immense mountains that hem its borders. Seasons in Azovith, such as they exist, are largely unpredictable in the long term. Seasons are plotted in the short term by watching the flight patterns of Takshan birds. There are numerous species inhabiting Azovith, the Dysmanta being the dominant and only truly sentient form.
Bridacia
- Main article: Bridacia
Bridacia is the best known as the homeworld of the Lightfirean species. Originally Bridacia had been a pre-terran planet, only capable of supporting microbial life. But a ancient species known by many species as the Seeders came and terraformed the planet. The Seeders also dropped off three animal species from Earth there, one of which were foxes who later evolved into the powerful Lightfirean species. Bridacia has two major continents Yarrfar and Mar'Amma, one smaller continent Dorair, and one arctic continent Irritar.
Cascadia
- Main article: Cascadia
Cascadia was the homeworld of Raylan Loktorus Lammens before he travelled into The Napping Cat's Dream, chasing the bandits that destroyed his home city of Rhiminée. The land is a traditional realm of 'fantasy', featuring sentient humans, elves and dwarves. Being split by so many species and factions, the land of Cascadia is rarely at peace, making warfare a common way of life. The world has only just begun to investigate the uses of gunpowder, utilising it in the form of hand canons.
Dagda
- Main article: Dagda
The world of Dagda is a small Terran planet, consisting of oceans, great continents and varied forms of flora and fauna. It holds several sentient subspecies that all share a common ancestor, they are the Raijin, Fujin, Ryujin, Savitr, Mani and Svarog, each separated by racial defined boundaries and countries. The three most prominent subspecies reside on the northern bound continent and minor islands, whilst the others live on the gold rich southern continent, which has a much more inhospitable climate and terrain.
Ducati
- Main article: Ducati
The planet Ducati is a world considered to be a part of The Imperium and is close to the Dream Space Station, which is also under control of The Imperium and used primarily for research into portals. When Overlord Skrai died during the Second Invasion, the Imperium was thrown into chaos and many worlds rebelled against the empire's control, including Ducati. These rebels rose up, took possession of the Lightfirean Space Vessels guarding the world and staged a war around the Dream Space Station. The planet itself is largely rural with little in the way of development. It is a temperate world similar to Earth, having great oceans and a lot of fertile land where a Human population lives and thrives in relative safety. The native life is carbon-based and the atmosphere is composed very similarly to Earth's, however there is a greater amount of methane in the upper atmosphere which gives the planet an incredibly blue hue, especially when seen from space. Whilst many did rebel against the Imperium, most of the planet remains loyal to the empire.
Earth (Phemus)
- Main article: Earth (Phemus)
The planet Earth from which the characters Father Phemus Reginald Smite and his grandfather Reginald Smite originate is one that has been over-run by Hellspawn. In this fantasy version of Earth, the Catholic Church has become the centre-piece of human civilisation and attempts to hold back the swarms of evil creatures through the powers bestowed upon them by God.
Never-ending Story
- Main article: Never-ending Story
The world of the Never-ending Story, known better as the NeS, is an existence bound by the Meta-Story and centers around a variant of Earth. It is primarily made up of humans, but also includes such sentient beings such as robots, gods, talking animals, and incarnations of concepts, including the NeS itself. Due to the nature of the NeS, it is very difficult to define specifics, at least for any length of time. It is also victim of regular villainous attacks, rendering the necessity for NeS Heroes, as well as Plot-hole attacks. The likes of Gebohq and MaybeChild were trained to be heroes at the Never-ending State University.
Odin
- Main article: Odin
Odin is the third planet in the Yggdrasil-387420489-Kappa solar system. It is named after the chief Norse god, and is the planet which the Valle Dei Mondi, otherwise known as the Valley, is situated on. It is also the planet where the Schola Draíochta can be found. Much of the planet's surface is coated by a thick mist that can lead to many dangerous results if entered; however there are still several habitable pockets of clean air zones, such as the Valley itself, where life can flourish with high magick concentrations.
Terrth
- Main article: Terrth
The planet Terrth is a world that, at least in its areas inhabitable by Anhums, exhibits a mostly spring or autumn atmosphere. It is otherwise not unlike most humanoid planets, if perhaps more abundant in plant-life. Areas inhabited by anhums tend to coexist with nature, and their buildings tend to resemble old-fashioned greenhouses.

Dream Space Station
- Main article: Dream Space Station
The Dream Space Station was originally constructed in the Atelier Galaxy, codenamed 'Purple Lagoon', and commanded by Akita Misato. However when a huge rift in space-time opened up the station was sucked in. Many factions of the Atelier Galaxy began to blame one another, believing the disappearance of the station to be the display of a secret weapon. Akita Misato retained her command of the station in the strange alien world known as The Napping Cat's Dream and renamed the station to reflect its new role in this new environment. People from across the Multiverse flocked to The Napping Cat's Dream and many of them joined the station, either as crew or citizens in the station's cityscape, including Valentine Fellin (elder) and Genichi Kasuse (elder). Admiral Ace Lander was promoted to Admiral by Akita Misato so that he could organise the fleet defending the station and enact military operations beyond the station's immediate space. The Dream Space Station was capable of docking many ships, designed with a large 'docking arm' that large capital ships could connect to, whilst smaller ships could land within. Its fighter bays, however, were separate and considered the stations only on-board defence. However when the Dream came to an end, Akita Misato took the station out of Dream space and off into the Multiverse. This left the station vulnerable to attack, however, from The Imperium, whose leader, Skrai, had long sought position of it. The Imperium attacked, took control and placed the remaining former officers in prison. For a time the station was then run by Brittannia, a general of Skrai, but a more permanent commander was installed, taking possession of both the station and the navy; Admiral Crius Ares.
Buildings
Neko Island Fortress
- Main article: Neko Island Fortress
The Neko Island Fortress is a huge fortress, belonging to the Ethereal Overlord Skrai, located upon Neko Island itself. The fortress is almost entirely consumed by the modern fortress complex which extends both above and below ground. Under the island there is access to the sea. The fortress, as well as acting as a military hub and headquarters for Skrai's intelligence operatives, is a storage point for Skrai's greatest possessions, including The Rapine and the Dream Gate. Although it has no official commander, the fortress had Domie Neitrycks in charge for a long time before she left to engage in the Second Invasion. Where the island is currently located is unknown.
The Schola Borealis
- Main article: The Schola Borealis
The Schola Borealis is a school, much like the Schola Draíochta, that is designed to teach those of 'gifted' talents. This might include those with magickal powers, or those with genetic effects similar to magick, or even technology that may be mistaken for magick. Unlike the Schola Draíochta, the Schola Borealis is not bound by the planet Odin. Instead the castle rides a swathe of mist, travelling across the skies of the planet. This function can only be controlled by the headmaster of the school, who is currently Lysander. Isaac Hawthorne is the school's resident inventor and he developed an energy system that uses the mist itself to power up the floating fortress and the new teleporter pad. The Schola Borealis was steered over the Valle Dei Mondi by Lysander when he suspected a plot against him.
The Schola Draíochta
- Main article: The Schola Draíochta
The Schola Draíochta is a large stone castle situated in the Valle Dei Mondi, otherwise known as the Valley. It serves as both an inter-dimensional boarding school, and also as the castle of Mistress Procellifer, Queen of the Valley. The castle is known for its protective wards, the spacious Schola Grounds, mysterious Catacombs and even containing an Observatory as one of its thirteen towers.
Other
Atelier Galaxy
- Main article: Atelier Galaxy
The Atelier Galaxy has reached a state of space age technology and the human species spans much of their known galaxy. However the humans are not a united people, broken up into many rival factions that have been warring for over one hundred years. Despite this, there are many citizens that live quiet and peaceful lives, however it is the military that earn the most money and glory. Technology advances based on military use, with plenty of 'accidental' inventions that benefit everyday life. Space stations have become common use, often used as colonies for uninhabitable worlds that are rich in resources that can be mined or gathered. The worlds are rarely clean-cut divided between the factions, often several factions will own territory on a single planet, building up defences an fleet to protect their scrap. Only the 'inner worlds' of each faction's territory is ever fully controlled by any single faction. One major incident involved the diplomatic space station codenamed Purple Lagoon, later called Dream Space Station, which was accidentally drawn into a rift in space-time. Factions pointed fingers at one another and the chaos of war increased.
Catacombs
- Main article: Catacombs
The Catacombs are the dwarven-built tunnels that exist below the Schola Draíochta many decades before the castle itself was built. They harbour the strange altar as well as the generator and are considered the dominion of the crazy Professor of Technomancy & Psychoportive Sciences, Reimi Soulstar who sends out his small C.O.D.s to investigate and watch the Catacombs. Only the student Fula has come to share this domain with the Professor, taking a residence near to the generator. Naturally Reimi also has his class room, the directions for which are lit up with neon signs, and also acts as his personal laboratory and engineering bay. There are links to the underground dwarven settlement named Old Breja since the establishment of the aboveground town of Breja itself.
Observatory
- Main article: Observatory
The Observatory is a large circular room that peaks one of the Schola Draíochta's thirteen towers. It is the only dome on the building, which is specifically made of glass to allow ample view of the sky. A huge telescope exists within the room, modified by resident inventor Reimi Soulstar to allow for an unlikely amount of clarity and increased visual range. The room itself is used to teach Practical Astronomy, which teaches students the wonders of the universe, and the wonders of many other universes.
Portal Grounds
- Main article: Portal Grounds
The Portal Grounds is a region of the Valle Dei Mondi in which there is a very high concentration of portals, leading to many, many existences beyond the confines of the planet Odin, extending across the Multiverse. The Portal Grounds is usually the first 'port of call' for anyone entering the Valle Dei Mondi, intending to reach either Breja or the illustrious Schola Draíochta. They are frequented by students or residents of Breja seeking solitude.
Schola Grounds
- Main article: Schola Grounds
The Schola Grounds is the area contained within the outer walls of the Schola Draíochta that is not contained directly within the building itself. The grounds are still protected by the Blood Wards caste upon each of the castle's thirteen towers, however a dark and mysterious building still manage to be summoned onto the grounds by a student named Vann Distrid, earning the building Distrid's Tower. As well as this new addition, the Schola Grounds also contains the likes of the Quintana, the Forest and leads down towards The Lake. Otherwise there are broad fields for students and teachers to relax upon.
Sirina Galaxy
- Main article: Sirina Galaxy
The Sirina Galaxy is a barred spiral galaxy, consisting of a supermassive black hole at its centre then a bar of stars and planets before extending into swirling arms. The Sirina Galaxy itself only has two such arms that spin away from the central bar. Around the supermassive black hole are the Inner and Outer Dyson Rings, great artificial structures that act as the political hub for the entire galaxy. Each planet is considered one collective, similar to a city, with its own government answerable to the laws of the galaxy. There are many species in this galaxy, including the Muovinen, Humans and Juncturists, more commonly referred to as 'The Ancients' by other residents of the galaxy. Within the Sirina Galaxy reside the Æon who use a form of spiritual power referred to as Pleroma.
Yggdrasil-387420489-Kappa
- Main article: Yggdrasil-387420489-Kappa
Yggdrasil-387420489-Kappa or Y9K is the solar system within which the Schola Draíochta is situated. It consists of nine planets, named after Norse Gods, orbiting a single star. The planets, in order from the sun outwards are: Thor, Frigg, Odin, Freya, Frey, Njord, Skadi, Hoder and Loki. The twin planets of Freya and Freyr are suspected to have life upon them. Odin is the name of the planet that the Schola stands upon, contained within one pocket free of mist.
