I don't know how this works but we'll see! Obviously, since the Schola site is "host is experiencing some problems with the server our site is on. There’s nothing to worry about but we will have to ask you to refrain from using the site"
But I guess, if the wiki is on a separate server at least - this provides the prefect opportunity to use the wiki!

Hey, not a bad idea. I wonder if it'll catch on with the others. I also wonder how long we'll have to refrain from using the site.
Eventually, I'll also finish the articles for Gebohq, Lymn, and Termitan and their related articles. If only I wasn't so lazy...

Actually the Wiki is on the same server ;). It's no big deal though, I'm sure two little 'talk' posts won't have affected maintenance much. The issue was external and nothing to do with the management of the Schola website itself, it was an issue caused by someone else's website on the same server network as ours. Should be long over now though.
As for this 'Talk' thing, I've never actually used it myself either and never thought to. However, basically, it's designed to give people something to talk about regarding the page that they're on in particular. So this 'Talk' would be about the Main Page, and technically, therefore, the whole of the Wiki in general. It's fine to leave whatever messages you like on here, honestly, but try not to use it like a messenger program. I would hate for a trend like that to 'catch on' ;). In my experience 'Chat' is the death of any forum; it either dies completely and becomes nothing more than a chat room or it evolves into completely chat RP. Chat RP is fine but not something we're interested in running here ;) :p.
How's that for random 'Talk'? :p
