Yggdrasil-387420489-Kappa or Y9K is the solar system within which the Schola Draíochta is situated. It consists of nine planets, named after Norse Gods, orbiting a single star. The planets, in order from the sun outwards are: Thor, Frigg, Odin, Freya, Frey, Njord, Skadi, Hoder and Loki. The twin planets of Freya and Freyr are suspected to have life upon them. Odin is the name of the planet that the Schola stands upon, contained within one pocket free of mist.

Planets
Thor
Thor is a large rocky planet with an unstable atmosphere, which is almost always undergoing a massive planet-wide storm. The cloud is extremely thick and it is incredibly rare to see the actual surface of the planet through the cloud-system but if you got a fairly close-up view, you would be able to see it illuminated with lightning flashes on occasion. Thor has no moons.
Thor cannot support sentient life, but some hardy plants have adapted to life on its storm-struck surface. These are small, and not very far up the evolutionary ladder. Very few are flowering plants, most are mosses and small ferns. Some varieties of fungi have evolved on Thor, but again these are not incredibly advanced.
Frigg
Frigg is a small rocky planet with liquid water on its surface, but an unstable weather system. It resembles a cloudy marble, with the gaps in its substantial cloud cover showing through to blue water and green-grey land.
Frigg has fifteen moons, which all contain gold deposits in high quantities, so they glitter as they all follow roughly the same orbit. Being very small, they don't actually qualify for real names, instead the collective is known as Frigg's Girdle.
Frigg has the potential to support sentient life, but its hazardous weather patterns do not allow it to. It has a huge variety of flora, however, with everything from mosses and fungi to fully-fledged trees and flowers. It also has a substantial amount of aquatic life, but none of these have developed to live on land.
Odin
- Main article: Odin
Odin is the third planet in the Schola solar system. It is named after the chief Norse god, and is the planet which the Valle Dei Mondi, otherwise known as the Valley, is situated on. Much of the planet's surface is coated by a thick grey fog, however there are still several habitable pockets of clean air zones, such as the Valley itself, and are known to be prime spots for portals leading across the Multiverse.
Freya
Freya is an earth-like planet, with a stable atmosphere and a rich abundance of plants. It has liquid water on its surface and an atmosphere that appears very similar in composition to that of Odin. Freya has no moons, and shares an orbit with Freyr.
Freya could support sentient life, and may do, as the Schola researchers have so far been unable to visit or even scan it properly due to some sort of odd magnetic field. It is lush and verdant, and one can watch its seasons unfolding as it appears to have entirely deciduous vegetation.
Freyr
Freyr's geography is remarkably similar to Freya's, down to its climate and force field. It has liquid water on its surface, and runs in exactly the same orbit as Freya, although on the opposite side. Freyr has three small moons - Skírnir, Byggvir and Beyla
Freyr has identical potential for life as Freya does, and has similarly entirely deciduous vegetation. It is unknown whether it has sentient life, but Schola researchers strongly suspect that it does.
Njord
The surface of Njord is entirely liquid hydrogen, with no landmasses or ice caps to be seen. It revolves around the sun, and occasionally revolves in a complicated pattern around Skadi. Njord has no moons, and no possibility of life.
Skadi
Skadi has little to no atmosphere, and its surface is entirely barren, icy rock. It revolves around the sun and occasionally diverts from this course to orbit Njord, but this is a rare celestial event. Skadi has no moons, and no possibility of life.
Hoder
Hoder is a tiny ice planet, at the very edge of the solar system. It has a single moon, Balder, which has gold and precious crystal deposits, and so reflects back the light of the sun so much so that it can be seen from Odin. Hoder has no possibility of life.
Loki
Loki is the tenth planet in the Schola solar system, but due to a wildly elliptical orbit, it is rarely the tenth from the sun. It is a little planet with a red surface and a sulphurous, thick atmosphere that traps in suffocating heat. Loki has three moons, known as Fenrir, Jormungand and Hel, and no possibility of life.
Other Bodies
Heimdall
Heimdall is a ball of ice, which has settled into an elliptical orbit around the sun. Due to the prismatic quality of its icy body, it spews a rainbow tail behind it as it arcs around the system.
